Sets 9, 10, 11, 12, 20, 21, 22, and 23 

The Mactrac Deluxe track is best suited for medium to heavy weight curtains, with the option of having a draw cord for easy operation.

The deep profile of our Deluxe track makes it our most durable and versatile track for common residential use.

If chosen, the cord drawn track will be the track furthest from the window. If you would like to change this, please ensure you contact us before placing your order. 

Custom Bending

The Deluxe Full Weight Tracks are also the preferred track for custom bending for those with uniquely shaped spaces. Our tracks are designed to ensure that the glides from which the curtains hang from have minimal surface touch, this ensures a low friction, quiet, and smooth operation.

Cord Drawn Options

For those selecting Cord Drawn options, the standard cord drop is 1250mm, let us know if you require a different length. Draw Cord location (left or right) is from the perspective as you face the curtains from the room. For tracks of this type without a cord (a cheaper option), please leave the default selection of "Hand Drawn (No Cord)".

Mactrac Track information

Mactrac is made from premium quality extruded aluminium. The profiles and components are strong, versatile, and most importantly, they perform – year after year. In fact, our track is specified in so many projects throughout New Zealand that we are proud to be able to say that Mactrac is the architect’s choice.

Our Deluxe track, designed and launched in 1971, has a long history of performance in residential properties and commercial projects in New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific. Our track provides a lightweight system that may be fixed into place in a variety of ways.

Our track is durable and has excellent corrosion resistance to atmospheric conditions.

Components

• All sets are supplied complete with 16 NRS5 glides per metre, fixing screws and end stops (NES2). 
• Curtain hooks are sold separately (see upgrades below).
• Nylon glides aid the aluminium's low corrosion levels.

Size

• 23.5mm x 19.0mm, profile wall thickness 1.25mm, available up to 6m lengths.

Profile

• Extruded aluminium structural channel section with lipped glide channel below. An extra leg extends horizontally out from the top of the structural channel to provide head fixing either directly to the soffit, or used with proprietary brackets as a method of face fixing the track.

Components

• Solid glide manufactured from high density polyethylene, waisted in section to slide between the lipped channel with a closed ring beneath. A hook may hang from the ring from which the curtain is suspended. 16 glides (NRS5) are supplied per metre of Mactrac Deluxe. Curtain hooks are sold separately (see upgrades below).
• All sets are supplied complete with fixing screws and end stops (NES4 LH & RH). 
• Pulley blocks, master carriers, overlap and underlap arms are supplied for cord drawn tracks.
• Approved fixings for solid concrete, brick, timber walls / ceiling and cavity walls / ceilings are used.

Options

• Bending
  We can bend tracks to cater for most requirements. Talk to us about your specific needs and we can advise on options.
• Colours
  Standard finishes are satin silver anodised, white powder coated, and Titania. If you have a particular Dulux colour you would like to match, we can powdercoat your track for a flat fee (Contact us). For satin silver tracks, complementary brackets are powder coated 'Venerable Silver' from Dulux's ELECTRO® range.
• Parts
  Replacement parts are available (see Replacement part section below).

Deluxe Track Set Numbers

If you place your order online, these set numbers are determined for you as you choose your components. However, if you need to discuss options with our customer service team, it's usually easier to discuss the options in terms of Sets.

All set numbers below are listed first as Hand Drawn, secondly as Cord Drawn.

Sets 9 & 20 - Deluxe Track for Ceilings

The head fixed profile of these sets allow you to set the track at your own spacing and placement from the window by fixing the track directly to the ceiling or support beam against the ceiling. Standard hole spacing for the head fix profile is 500mm. The picture shown above is for Set 20 (corded) with a right-hand pull.

Sets 10 & 21 - Deluxe Track for Walls

These are the Face Fix sets for those who want to attach their tracks directly to a vertical surface such as the wall or a support beam. This face fixed profile causes the curtain track to sit off the wall, making your curtains look fuller.

Sets 11 & 22 - Deluxe Track with 50mm Brackets

These have the base track in Set 9, plus 50mm brackets for rigidity of the track and easy fixing to a vertical surface (wall or window surround), where the curtain needs to be held away from the window head. The track shown above is Set 22 with a right-hand pull.

Sets 12 & 23 - Deluxe Track with 75mm Brackets

These have the base track in Set 9, plus 75mm brackets for rigidity of the track and further distance from the wall or other vertical surface, where the curtain needs to be held away from the window head. The track shown above is set 23 as it has no cords/pulls so will be hand drawn.
